Golowan (Penzance): Golowan Festival is a celebration of ancient Celtic traditions and the midsummer Feast of St John. Culminates in Mazey Day and Quay Fair Day. Events include live music, street theatre, dance, street market and parades. Dates: 20-27 June 2010*. Check availability/prices
Sea, Salts & Sail: A small biennial maritime festival. Traditional boats, traditional crafts, cookery demonstrations and live music. Dates: 9/10/11 July 2010*. Check availability/prices
Mousehole Carnival: A fun August weekend for all the family including barbecue, bouncy castle, a visit from the lifeboat, live music, competitions and beach races. Dates: 13-16 August 2010*. Check availability/prices
Newlyn Fish Festival: Enjoy a wide selection of seafood, cooking demos, fish auctions, craft, art, trade stalls and music together with harbour entertainments. Date: 30 August 2010*. Check availability/prices
Guy Fawkes: An impressive fireworks display is launched from the quayside. The display is free of charge but donations are gratefully accepted.

Mousehole Christmas Lights: Mousehole is famous for its Christmas illuminations which are switched on every year in mid-December. Dates: 18 December 2010-2 January 2011*. Check availability/prices
Tom Bawcock's Eve: A unique celebration held each year to celebrate the ending of a famine in the 16th century by local resident Tom Bawcock. The origin of 'Star Gazey Pie'. Date: 23 December 2010*. Check availability/prices
